I am going to explain you why Malt is the Home of the Independent Work on 2026.

What does the word “Home” mean for you?
Home is a warm place when you act / consider / feel the same way when you are (alone) with yourself

And you could feel (at) home in different places and/or with different people.
For instance, it happens to me when I visit the Madrid offices (with the Spanish team or with the community members) or in the Paris offices (with the Advisory Board members committee and the with team we used to meet at)
Independance
An independent mind is quite valuable in the times (of AI and social networks) we live, in order to choose the rights decisions / thoughts for you / your life; it is the same when you work as an independent worker / freelancer
Work
What is Work? What is Work for?
It’s something we (have to) do in order to be fulfilled (or earn money) nowadays.

On Tuesday June 9th we had our yearly meeting in the HQ of Malt in Paris and apart of helping Malt with our perspective about freelancing and about the platform, we keep building our relationship among us and within the company.

Because, as you know, at least from my point of view, there is no good professional relationship without a (really) good personal relationship.
My (personal) notes
Personally this time I brought with me:
- the time I spent talking with Perrine
- how easy are the things going with a CEO like Vincent
- the Marketing team we built in the cocktail with Carla, Nicolas & Giulia
- the inspiration that always is listening to Gary
- how smooth is the leadership of Melanie (and how well organized was the day, as usual)
- how always Pauline is taking care of everyone at the same time that is cocreating with us
- Genevieve and selling as synonyms
- ..and many more things I wanna keep going on 2027.
Of course, sometimes in this kind of events you don’t have the chance to speak as much as possible with everyone (we are 18 members so far) but even the small talks are valuable (like the ones with Jakub and Kyrill or with the new members as Charles or Inga).
Looking forward to 2027!!
